Bigelow Joins Taliban Film |
Fresh from the critical acclaim of The Hurt Locker Director Kathryn Bigelow has signed on to direct real-life kidnap drama Held By The Taliban.
The film, which is still in the early stages of development, will be adapted from articles written by David Rhodes for the New York Times.
With his story depicting details of when he and his team were kidnapped for 7 months in Pakistan in 2008.
Bigelow, the ex wife of Avatar director James Cameroon, has been nominated for numorous awatrds for Hurt Locker including DGA awards and Golden Globes
